All-State Belting, LLC is seeking an experienced Conveyor Belt Technician for our Lewisville, TX location. This position is responsible for the installation and repair of conveyor belts and conveyor systems, including basic mechanical maintenance. This will involve work in the branch workshop and a significant proportion of time out at customer sites.

You are responsible for the repair of conveyor belts including basic mechanical maintenance.



Responsibilities Include

  • Responds to assigned customer orders to install conveyor belts or repair as needed

  • Ensure conveyor belts or systems are working effectively per customer orders and instructions

  • Install conveyor belts using rigging gear, winches, or cranes as required to fit and assemble system components

  • Certify that jobs are completed within order times

  • Loads deliver, installs, and specs equipment.

  • Completes all required paperwork (timesheets, service orders, forms, inventory, expense reports, purchase cards, and equipment-related items).

  • Properly identify basic conveyor system components and troubleshoot to perform basic splices, belt cleaning, and pulley lagging.

  • Serves as a technical contact for assistance with the training and ongoing technical support for other technicians and administrative staff.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver's license

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Mechanically inclined to read work orders, use tools and equipment.

  • Basic rigging, lifting, and slinging

  • Technical training in a related technical field is a plus.

  • Conveyor belt technician experience preferred but not required.

  • Strong teamwork skills

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety issues

  • Able to lift and load equipment into vehicle and unload at repair sites.

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

  • Mechanical skills are helpful.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
