Detailed Description:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Assemble and dissemble plastic injection molds.
Troubleshoot molds/recorded QC problems.
Part fabrication and machine work-milling, turning,
Grinding and polishing.
Cleaning and inspection of all related parts.
Replacement of parts due to wear or modification.
Measurement of parts and components to print.
Electrical testing of hot runner manifolds.
General machine work.
Required Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Five to ten years of experience in tool making/tool maintenance
Must be a class 1 machinist/toolmaker
Experience in Plastic Injection Molds and hot runners

Assembly Mechanic ($25-35 an hour with $2,500 sign-on bonus *)
Detailed Description:
Position Summary
Maintains electrical and electro-mechanical production machinery to insure machine operates properly and within set specifications; refers advanced troubleshooting or repairs to Maintenance Mechanic.
Job Elements & Position Responsibilities
Repairs, sets up, and troubleshoots production machinery independently
Reads inspection gauges
Performs recordkeeping duties
Communicates engineering issues and creates work requests
May issues parts to machines using Mobisys in order to record in SAP
Performs safety checks on production machinery and is responsible for following lockout procedures
Monitors multiple high-speed assembly machines and acts as a backup to the Assembly Technician
Performs housekeeping duties
Required Qualifications
Education
Must possess a high school diploma or GED
Skills
Must have knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems
Must have mechanical skills/aptitude (as determined by testing)
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally throughout the shift, 1 to 2 times every 4 hours. Lifts 30% and reaches above shoulder 20% of shift.
Must be able to stand, walk, lift, bend, crawl and stoop continuously throughout the shift. Bends 30%; stands 50% and walks 50% of shift.
Must have good vision in order to perform visual inspection duties.
Must be able to hear warning signals and verbal alerts to avoid injury during the manufacturing process.
Must be able to work as a member of a team, have a high energy level, and be able to work well under pressure.
Must be able to discern shades of color and color differences relating to component parts used in the manufacturing process.
Must be able to read, write and speak English in order to communicate and understand relevant information relating to quality and production issues.
Must possess basic math skills.
Must possess basic PC skills.

Manager of Mechanical Maintenance and Machine Building
(Salary $110,000 - $125,000 a year)
Detailed Description:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure a safe and well-organized work area for all Aptar associates, customers, vendors, and visitors. Abide by all OSHA
requirements with regard to plant maintenance and man/machine interfaces.
Adhere to and model the Aptar Core Values.
To oversee and direct the Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance of all Assembly Equipment, the Palletizer, and Stamping Presses.
Assist and Support all maintenance activities for the Extruders.
To develop, manage, maintain and control the capital and expense budgets for all assembly operations.
Conceptually design and oversee all-new assembly machine purchases and fabrication.
Oversee the retrofit of obsolete assembly equipment to manufacture existing or future products.
Supports our customers by assisting them with filling issues.
Purchase all maintenance supplies, and ensure that spare parts are maintained at proper levels.
Participate in the Aptar Assembly Committee, and be cognizant of all contemporary assembly methodologies.
Hire, train and develop all mechanical and electrical maintenance staff.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
Experience
Five years of mechanical maintenance and automated assembly experience in a supervisory capacity
Skills
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills

Appropriate computer/design skills
